Genesis 22 Print

This new work is based on an original piece of art which David produced for the Akiba Academy in Dallas, Texas. The work was a mural covering 45 feet of wall and depicted the biblical story of the binding of Isaac (Genesis 22) in a colorful pictographic form. Each person or entity in the story was rendered in its own color (God is Blue, Isaac is Red, Time is Yellow etc.) and drawn in such a way that, with a little practice, the whole story can be translated directly from the images. It was such a stunning and well received piece that we had to reproduce it.
We decided to make both a scroll form, like the original and an accordion book form. This is the separate 12 by 12 inch giclee print of the final image of the piece.
