Aleph is for Ox

$800.00

Description

In the ancient Paleo-Hebrew alphabet, new readers learned that “Aleph is for Ox” and the two horns and body of the ox were very clear. Gimel is for “camel” and the hump is right there. Eyin is for “eye” and it is a circle. And so forth. This first alphabet has been arranged in the form of a menorah, suggesting the illumination and enlightenment that this revolutionary invention has brought to the world.

The edition is strictly limited to one hundred fifty signed and numbered prints on Modigliani Insize 330 gram paper made by Cordenons, Italy, measuring 18″ x 20.25″.
